    ダレル・スコット　Darrell Scott

    米国の自作自演歌手ジェームズ・ダレル・スコット( James Darrell Scott )は、1959年8月6日にケンタッキー州ロンドンで生まれました。父親はミュージシャンのウェイン・スコット( Wayne Scott )です。子供の時にインディアナ州イースト・ゲリー（現在はレイク・ステーション）に移り、テーンネイジャーの頃にはサウス・キャロライナ一帯でプロとして演奏していました。その後、トロントへ、それからマサチューセッツ州ボストンへと移り、ボストン近くにあるタフツ私立大学に通い、詩と文学を学びました。1995年からはテネシー州ナッシュビルに住んでいます。彼は何曲かのヒット作を書き、ナッシュビルの熟達したセッションマンとして成功しています。彼の弟のデイヴィッド・スコット( David Scott )もキーボード奏者として、時折、彼を伴奏しています。1997年に初アルバム「Aloha From Nashville」を発表しました。現在まで13枚ほどのアルバムがあります。
