    エド・ベル　Ed Bell

    戦前のアラバマを代表するブルースマンです。1905年にアラバマ州フォレスト・デポジットで生まれ、1960年にアラバマ州グリーンヴィルで死去しました。1927年にパラマウントに4曲を吹き込み、その中の「Mamlish Blues」がヒットしました。1929年にはスルーフット・ジョー( Sluefoot Joe )、ベアフット・ビル( Barefoot Bill )の名でも吹き込み、1930年にはコロンビアのフィールド・レコーディングで6曲を吹き込んでいます。
