    1909年10月27日にミシシッピー州シェルビーで生まれ、イリノイ州カイロを経てミズーリ州セントルイスに住んでいました。代表曲は「She's Got A Mean Disposition」です。ビッグ・ジョー・ウィリアムズの代表曲「49 Highway Blues」の伴奏をしているのは彼です。2006年9月24日にウィスコンシン州メクォンで死去しました。
