キミヤ・ドーソン Kimya Dawson
1972年11月17日に生まれた米国籍の自作自演歌手です。”Kimya”(كيميا)はスワヒリ語で”silence”を意味します。アダム・グリーン( Adam Green )と組んでいたモルディ・ピーチス( The Moldy Peaches )での活動がよく知られています。内気な小学生がつぶやいているような歌声はバブルガム・フォーク(Bubble Gum Folk)とでも呼びたくなります。
