    ロバート・ゴードン　Robert Gordon

    米国のロカビリー歌手/俳優です。1947年3月29日にワシントンD.C.郊外のメリーランド州ベセスダで生まれ、ここで育ちました。9歳の時にラジオから流れるエルヴィス・プレスリーの歌「Heartbreak Hotel」を聞いて、ロックンローラーになろうと決心しました。 当時のジーン・ヴィンセント( Gene Vincent )やジャック・スコット( Jack Scott )、ビリー・リー・ライリー( Billy Lee Riley )、エディ・コクラン( Eddie Cochran )などのロカビリアン達からの影響を受け、1964年の17歳の時にデヴューしました。1970年にニューヨークへ出て、数年後にはパンク・バンドに加入し、数曲を吹き込んでいます。1977年にはリンク・レイ( Link Wray )を起用したアルバム「Robert Gordon with Link Wray」を出し、まずまずの販売成績を収め、翌78年に「Fresh Fish Special」を発表しました。その他、1981年「Are You Gonna Be The One」などがあります。
