    スコッティ・ムーア　Scotty Moore

    米国のロカビリー系ギタリストで、初期のエルヴィス・プレスリーの音楽を支えたことで有名です。本名はウィンフィールド・スコット・ムーア3世( Winfield Scott Moore III )です。1931年12月27日にテネシー州ジャクソンで生まれました。8歳からギターを弾き始め、チェット・アトキンスに大いに影響されました。彼が参加したプレスリーの代表的な曲は「That's All Right (Mama)」、「Good Rockin' Tonight」、「Baby Let's Play House」、「Heartbreak Hotel」、「Mystery Train」、「Hound Dog」、「Too Much」、「Jailhouse Rock」などです。1964年にエピックから出した唯一の自己名義アルバム「The Guitar That Changed The World!」があります。2016年6月28日にナッシュヴィルの自宅で死去しました。
