    ステュードゥベイカー・ジョン　Studebaker John

    1952年11月5日にイリノイ州シカゴで生まれたブルース・ギタリスト/ハーピストです。本名はジョン・グリマルディ( John Grimaldi )と言い、イタリア系の血を引いています。芸名は1963年型のスチュードベイカー・シルバーラークという車の名前から取りました。7歳の時からマックスウェル・ストリートのノミ市に立ってハーモニカを吹いていました。1970年代は建設作業員として働きながら、ザ・ホークス( the Hawks )というバンドを組んで歌っていました。1990年代になってブラインド・ピッグ・レコードへ録音を始めました。アルバムは、1991年「Born to Win」、1994年「Rockin' The Blues '85」（1985年のダブル・トラブル録音の再発売）、1994年「Too Tough」、1996年「Studebaker John & the Hawks」、2001年「Howl With The Wolf」、2012年「Old School Rockin'」、2013年「Kingsville Jukin'」などがあります。
