アンクル・デイヴ・メイコン　Uncle Dave Macon

戦前に活躍したバンジョー奏者で、1920年代にグランド・オール・オープリーの最初の花形ヴォードヴィリアンとして有名です。1870年10月7日にテネシー州のマクミンヴィルから南へ5マイルほどのスマート・ステーションで生まれ、1952年3月22日に死去しました。本名はデヴィッド・ハリスン・メイコン( David Harrison Macon )です。
