    ホワイト・ストライプス　The White Stripes

    ミシガン州デトロイト出身のジャック・ホワイト( Jack White, [vo, gt] )とメグ・ホワイト( Meg White, [vo, dr] )の2人編成です。初アルバムは1999年の「The White Stripes」です。その後、2000年に「De Stijl」を発表し、2001年の「White Blood Cells」で注目され、2003年の「Elephant」ではグラミー賞2部門を獲得しました。2005年「Get Behind Me Satan」、2007年「Icky Thump」を発表した後、2011年に解散しました。
