    キャレキシコ　Calexico

    1990年にジョーイ・バーンズ( Joey Burns )とジョン・コンヴァーティノ( John Convertino )の二人によってアリゾナ州トゥーソンで結成されました。Calexicoとは California と Mexico を掛け合わせた造語です。1980年代にはジャイアント・サンドに参加していましたが、キャレキシコに専念するために、2002年のアルバム「Cover Song」以降は別行動を取っています。自己名義でのデビュー・アルバムは1997年の「Spoke」です。2012年「Algiers」もあります。
