ジョー・メイフィス　Joe Maphis

1921年5月12日にヴァージニア州サフォークで生まれ、1986年6月27日に死去しました。本名はオーティス・W・メイフィス( Otis W. Maphis )です。彼はカーター・ファミリーのメイベル・カーター( Maybelle Carter )から大きな影響を受けました。多くの弦楽器を演奏する才人で、ダブルネックのモズライト・ギター( Double-neck Mosrite Guitar )を演奏することでも知られています。
